There are about three hundred years, coffee has been a popular beverage throughout the civilized world, but little is known about the exact manner as was discovered. You may have heard some old legends about goats grazing in the mountains, eating the fruits of coffee, and then giving mishaps due to the stimulant properties of coffee. There are other narratives that talk about a religious fanatic kicked out of Moca who sought refuge in the mountains of Arabia. He proved some strange fruit that grew in a bush. How were bitter, he tried to improve the taste tostando them on fire. That became the brittle, and he tried to amolecê them in water, and when the water in which the seeds were immersed became brown, that Mr. Omar (as it was her name) and drank out how what was good and invigorating. It was there for the past thirteen of the century. Long before that the coffee grew at ease in Abyssinia. The cafe by the end of the century seventeen, was entirely of Arabia and was known as Moca, the name of the city of its origin. More or less at that time, experts Dutch merchants, realizing the growing demand and the prospects of a new trade, led his government to try the planting of coffee in the possessions of the Netherlands East Indies. The governor of the island of Java distributed seeds in several parts of the island and because of the fertility of soil and climatic conditions favourable, once the plants have grown. In Java, the coffee spread itself to the West Indies and finally to the South and Central America, where the weather was particularly conducive to rapid development of coffee. Ali its cultivation was so extensive, so far, and probably 90% of all the coffee grown from the Western Hemisphere.
